Oregon Aero Academy is always looking for a qualified Instructor to join our team! We typically hire full time instructors in Spring in anticipation of busy Summer/Fall season.
Qualification:
- 3rd Class or BasicMed Medical Certificate
- ASEL/AMEL Certified Instrument Flight Instructor or Multi-Engine Instructor Certificate
- Must have separate CFI Insurance
- Must be able to have a satisfactory checkout flight in each aircraft type with Chief Flight Instructor annually
- Able to Teach Ground Classroom Course for Private, Instrument, Commercial
- Must be customer oriented and friendly
Working Environment:
- Teach in Part 61 or Part 141 environment
- Well maintained aircraft with in-house maintenance
- Climate controlled lobby and classrooms
- Free Coffee, water, and tea
- Expect to work Full Time for 1.5 to 2 years before you accrue 1500 total time
Starting Compensation:
- All Instructor positions are W-4 Employees
- As an Employee , your schedule will be assigned our Staff
- $30 per hour for Private Pilot Instruction (Flight and Ground)
- $35 per hour for Instrument and Commercial Instruction (Flight and Ground)
- $40 per hour for Multi Engine Instruction (Flight and Ground)
