Flight Training at Eugene Airport

Oregon Aero Academy trains pilots at KEUG — Eugene Mahlon Sweet Field — from our home in the Atlantic Aviation building on Boeing Drive. It's the same instruction, the same aircraft, and the same career-focused programs we've been running since 2015, now operating out of Oregon's second-busiest commercial airport.

Training at a towered Class D airspace changes what a student pilot walks away with. You'll talk to Clearance, Ground, Tower and Approach as a matter of routine, sequence with regional jets, fly published instrument procedures on the field you learned to fly at, and build the kind of comfort on the radio that a lot of pilots don't develop until well after their checkride. By the time you're sitting in an airline interview, the environment won't be new to you.

Why Train at KEUG

For Eugene-Area Students

Eugene is a college town, and our schedule is built for it. Students at the University of Oregon, Lane Community College and Northwest Christian can train part-time around class schedules, or knock out a rating over summer break on the Fast Track.
